Filmmaker's Bio

Jeff Jeff Warrick is the Writer / Producer / Director and Lead Editor on "PROGRAMMING THE NATION?" He founded Ignite Productions in 2002 to create revolutionary and thought provoking entertainment. Jeff graduated from UCSC in 2000 with a double major in Film and Literature. He is experienced in numerous areas of business development, entertainment and technical aspects of film and video productions. He has worked on an assortment of projects which include shorts, short documentaries, music videos and commercials. He is also an accomplished screenwriter having twice advanced recently to the top 5% of the prestigious Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting Competition, sponsored by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. He has over 10 years of experience working with print and web related media, having produced and directed hundreds of successful marketing, graphic design, multi-media and technical support related campaigns for his clients.
Jeff Marty Collins is the Co-Producer and Director of Photography. Marty is founder of Santa Cruz, CA based Digital Media Factory, (DMF), a multi-business facility for the development, production, management, and distribution of digital media products. He has over 37 years of cinematography experience in all media formats, including 35mm, 16mm, HD, DV, Beta, and as a steadicam operator. Some of his theatrical Cinematographer credits include The Dead Pit (1989), Still Waters Burn (1996), and Blur (2007 post-production). He is also credited as steadicam operator on Men at Work (1990), and as second unit photographer on Stephen King's "The Lawnmower Man"(1992). Mr. Collins is also highly skilled in creative development and all phases of production and post-production for television and motion pictures. He has shot, directed, produced and edited hundreds of media products for theatrical, TV, DVD, video, and other related markets.
